A once-weekly dosing schedule
Celtuide is taken once a week, exactly as prescribed by your health care professional, along with diet and exercise, to lower blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.
Getting started
Additional blood sugar control
0.25 mg once weekly (first 4 weeks)
This starting dose helps your body gradually adjust to the medicine and may reduce the likelihood of digestive side effects.
0.5 mg once weekly (after the first 4 weeks)
After the initial adjustment period, your healthcare provider may increase your dose to support improved blood sugar control.
Important Dosing Information
- Celtuide is taken once per week on the same day each week
- It can be taken with or without meals
- It can be taken with or without meals
- If a dose is missed, follow your healthcare provider’s instructions for when to take the next dose

Taking Celtuide
Take Celtuide Once Weekly
Take Celtuide once a week on the same day every week, exactly as prescribed by your healthcare professional. Maintaining a consistent weekly schedule helps ensure stable blood sugar control and improves treatment effectiveness.
With or Without Food
Celtuide can be taken with or without food. Your injection schedule does not need to change based on meals, making it easier to incorporate into your regular weekly routine.
Changing Your Dosing Day
If needed, you may change the day of the week you take Celtuide, provided that your last dose was taken at least 2 days (48 hours) earlier. Always consult your healthcare provider if you are unsure about adjusting your dosing schedule.
SAFETY & SIDE EFFECTS
Like all prescription medicines, CELTUIDE (semaglutide injection) may cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Most side effects are mild to moderate and may improve as your body adjusts to the treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider if you have concerns while using Celtuide™.
Common Side Effects
These side effects are the most frequently reported and are usually mild to moderate. They often decrease over time as your body becomes accustomed to the medication.

Warnings & Precautions
Use Celtuide exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Inform your doctor before starting treatment if you:
- Have a history of pancreatic disease
- Have kidney problems or impaired kidney function
- Have severe gastrointestinal disorders
- Are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
Serious Side Effects
Although uncommon, serious side effects may occur. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms.
- Severe or persistent abdominal pain
- Signs of pancreatitis
- Severe allergic reactions such as swelling, rash, or difficulty breathing
